Gold Medal Racing - For the love of Multisport...

Tri

Gold Medal Racing was organized by a group of experienced triathletes who recognized a need for more professionally managed, athlete-focused, destination-oriented events. Our philosophy is that when an event is professionally managed and focused on the athletes, it becomes a strong draw to not only the athlete, but to friends and family of the athlete as well. Rather than the triathlon being “just another race”, it becomes an event that families plan for and enjoy together.

Experienced Triathletes

Gold Medal Racing is comprised of a staff of experienced triathletes. Our experience has given us the desire to embrace the continually growing entry-level and amateur, family-focused athletes that participate in the sport for physical fitness and fun. By focusing on the beginner and amateur athletes like ourselves, we strive to reduce the typical intimidation of endurance sports. We provide newcomers with a comfortable entrance into the sport and ensure that each person, from beginners to experienced triathletes, have a guided, welcoming experience with lots of help along the way. There is no question that is too small and no person that is too unimportant to give time to. Also, as we continue to participate in endurance events, we're continually learning how to adapt and make each event better than the last!

Events, Not Just Races

Gold Medal Racing is dedicated to bringing you events, not just races. We strive to ensure every race is a celebration of fitness and endurance, bringing you events that are exciting and rewarding destinations, complete with post-event festivities. A race should be an experience that you'll enjoy and look back on with excitement, and most importantly, it should create motivation to participate in the next race! We hope that by bringing you great destination events, you can more easily establish and maintain continued healthy fitness habits that include your entire family!

Careful Planning & Directing

Safe
Planning an event is difficult, and requires attention to details. Safety is particularly important, and no compromises can be made in order to ensure the safety of participants and spectators. Gold Medal Racing's top priority is to provide you with a safe event that you can enjoy without worry. In order to help provide a safe event, all of our races are USAT sanctioned primarily to ensure we are meeting or exceeding the national triathlon sanctioning body's guidelines for a safe and fair event. The sanctioning process requires a thorough review of race courses, event plans, and other details prior to the event by USAT sanctioning officials, and a continuation of race sanctioning is an indication that we're providing high quality events.

Professional
In addition to providing a safe event, we are committed to providing an organized event that is delivered smoothly for an excellent experience. For all pre-race communication, we distribute information regarding upcoming races through channels such as individual event websites, our main website and/or email, as well as other community-targeted media. Registration of events are managed over the internet to ensure races are easy for participants to access, and one-on-one support for our registered participants is provided. We realize the importance of remaining in contact with our participants, and providing detailed information about our events. We continually strive to provide direct communication channels that keep the communities and participants in touch easily with Gold Medal Racing. On the day of the event, a staff of fully-qualified individuals are always on-site to direct the event and to answer any questions participants may have.

Community-Minded
Sponsorships and partnerships with the local communities are arranged for each venue to positively impact each community's economy and provide participants with access to various community products and services. Gold Medal Racing also benefits many groups, organizations and individuals in each community that choose to volunteer. Many volunteers are arranged for each race to properly cover the course and aid stations, and provide thorough support to ensure the event passes with success. After all, we couldn't provide a top-notch event without help from the local communities!
