REGISTRATION
All registration this year will be done through Active.com. Registration must be completed before 11:59 PM on Wednesday, March 26th. There will be no day of race registration this year.
Individuals
The cost will be $40* per individual. Additionally, every individual racing will
be required to be a member of USAT. Non-annual USAT members can purchase a one
day membership for $10 when registering for the event.
Awards will be given three deep to all age groups, both men and women from 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+, physically challenged. Additional awards will be given for Clydesdale (men over 200 lbs) and Athena (women over 145 lbs) categories.
Relay
Relay teams can be made up of 2-3 athletes. The cost will be $80 per registered team. Each member will be required to be an annual member of USAT or pay the $9 one day membership fee at race registration.
Awards will be given three deep for each category of men, women and open (both).
Kids
The cost to register children under the age of 15 for the kids' race will be $25. All kids will be required to be members of USAT or pay the annual youth membership fee of $5 at race registration.
Awards will be given three deep to all age groups, both boys and girls from 6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14.
Refund/Transfer Policy:
Gold Medal Racing Refund Policy
All entries for individual participants are non-transferable and non-refundable. Upon successfully registering online,
you agree to our registration policies.
Credit will be given only in the event that the race is cancelled for an unforseen reason by Gold Medal Racing, with the exception of
inclement weather cancellations*. We may also consider limited transfer of a race registration to another racer (referred by you) for the same event, or optionally an equivalent registration for yourself for a similarly priced Gold Medal Racing event in the same season if you are injured and unable to race in the event, provided we receive a verifiable doctor's note.
This request must be made via email to info@goldmedalracing.com.
Registration materials must be picked up by the participant with a picture ID. Participants and/or family members may not pick up packets for other athletes. Under USA Triathlon rules, a person CANNOT race under another person's number. If a person is found racing under another person's name, the person will be disqualified and
the registered participant may be barred from USA Triathlon membership for one full year.
*Inclement Weather Alterations/Cancellations:
If it is deemed that conditions are unsafe for racing on race day (before the race starts or after a race is in progress)
and the event is cancelled,
we will not be able to issue registration refunds, but participants may still pickup their race packets and shirts. Our
reason for this policy is simply that the awards, shirts, time and work of putting the event together cannot be undone.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
Active.com Refund Policy:
Active.com does not refund participants for events except in the case where an athlete has registered more than once for an event and the registration funds have not yet been transferred to Gold Medal Racing. If you were double-charged for an event, and the event is more than 30 days away, contact Active.com directly at support@active.com for a refund of your overpaid registration fees.
If it is within 30 days of an event and you have determined you were charged incorrectly, contact Gold Medal Racing directly for a refund of the overpaid amount. Gold Medal Racing cannot process credits for credit/debit cards - the refund will issued as a check sent via mail.
By successfully registering for a Gold Medal Racing event via Active.com (http://www.active.com), you have agreed to both the Active.com and Gold Medal Racing registration policies.
