The Swim

The swim will take place inside the Legacy Center facility. The pool is a 25 yard lap pool containing eight lanes. The swim will proceed in a serpentine fashion, 1 lap in each lane of the pool; participants will cross under each lane rope to the next until all 8 lanes have been completed.

NOTICE: The bike course has been changed due to construction and other considerations in order to ensure the race is safe and fun for participants. The new course should allow for an even better event than we had originally planned! New route details: The course will now head North along 200 West from the Legacy Center, turn left at 900 North until 500 N and head NW along Trinnaman Ln.toward Thanksgiving point and the business park area and head back toward the Legacy Center for a fairly flat, straight out-and-back route. Note that this course is now approximately 1.2 miles longer than it was previously (~12.4 mi). It is now much closer to a true sprint distance triathlon.

The Run

The run course will head out of the transition area on 200 N to 300 W, take a right and continue up to 900 N, take a brief right to 200 W and take another right. It will continue on 200 W to 600 N, and then a left turn is made. Then runners get a nice long flat straight until they reach State St, at which point they turn right at 400 E and head down to 300 N, take a left for a block to 500 E, turn left and continue down to 110 N, and take another right on 400 E. Then the course heads north again until 500 N, takes a left and continues on 500 N until 100 E, takes a left to head south until 100 N, and finally takes a right on 100 N to take runners into the finish chute.
Dont worry about getting lost! There's enough turns in this course to cause confusion, but we will have plenty of signs staff on the course to guide you the right way!
