Refund/Transfer Policy:

Gold Medal Racing Refund Policy

All entries for individual participants are non-transferable and non-refundable. Upon successfully registering online, you agree to our registration and refund policies.

No refunds
Full credit or refunds will not be issued for any reason. Partial credit or discounts may be issued in the event that the race is cancelled prior to the day of the event by Gold Medal Racing. Credits will not be issued for inclement weather cancellations* or other unforseen critical problems that may occur on the day of the event.

Injuries/transfers
If you are injured and unable to participate in the event, we will consider transfer of a race registration to another racer (referred by you) for the same event, or optionally a partial registration credit for yourself for another Gold Medal Racing event in the same season provided we receive a verifiable doctor's note. This request must be made via email to registration@goldmedalracing.com, from the same email address that was used to originally register through active.com and must be made at least two weeks prior to the event date.

No race substitutions allowed
Registration materials must be picked up by the participant with a picture ID. Participants and/or family members may not pick up packets for other athletes. Under USA Triathlon rules, a person CANNOT race under another person's number. If a person is found racing under another person's name, the person will be disqualified and the registered participant may be barred from USA Triathlon membership for one full year.

*Inclement Weather Alterations/Road Hazard Cancellations:
If it is deemed that conditions are or may be unsafe for racing on the day of the event (before the race starts or after the race is in progress) or the day prior to the event and the event is cancelled, we will not be able to issue registration refunds, but participants may still pickup their race packets and shirts. Our reason for this policy is simply that the awards, shirts, time and work of putting the event together cannot be undone. We apologize for this inconvenience.


Active.com Refund Policy:

Active.com does not refund participants for events except in the case where an athlete has registered more than once for an event and the registration funds have not yet been transferred to Gold Medal Racing. If you were double-charged for an event, and the event is more than 30 days away, contact Active.com directly at support@active.com for a refund of your overpaid registration fees.

By successfully registering for a Gold Medal Racing event via Active.com (http://www.active.com), you have agreed to both the Active.com and Gold Medal Racing registration policies. Gold Medal Racing reserves the right to change these policies at any time without notice.
